Phoenix Union Foundation Awards Over $105,000 in Scholarships

PHOENIX, AZ – The Phoenix Union Foundation for Education will honor 55 PXU scholars and award $105,500 in scholarships on Tuesday, April 25, during its annual scholarship reception. These funds will assist Phoenix Union High School District (PXU) seniors in furthering their education at colleges, universities, and trade schools.
The Phoenix Union Foundation for Education is a 501(c)(3) that supports pathways to success in college, career, and life. The Foundation provides support for PXU students, programs, and scholarships. It began in 1985 as the Phoenix Union Partnership of Business and Education, and in recent years, has focused on generating need-based scholarships for PXU students.
Scholarships range from $500 annually to $8,000 over a four-year academic career. Funds are distributed from a pool of scholarship funds provided by individual and organizational donors, employee contributions, sponsors, and fundraising events…[continue reading].

Phoenix Union College Bound Seniors Helped by Foundation Scholarships PHOENIX, AZ – The Phoenix Union Foundation for Education awarded scholarships this year totaling $95,750 assisting 52 Phoenix Union High School District (PXU) seniors in furthering their education at colleges and universities next year. The Phoenix Union Foundation for Education is a 501(c)(3) that supports pathways to success in college, career, and life. The Foundation provides support for PXU college-going students, programs, and scholarships. It began in 1985 as the Phoenix Union Partnership of Business and Education, and in recent years, it has concentrated on generating need-based scholarships for PXU students.
